Dual Mode Photoluminescence Studies of Polyol-mediated Ho3+ Doped CePO4

In this work, CePO4:Ho3+ nanomaterials are prepared by a productive polyol method which shows the dual mode of behavior in Photoluminescence. The up-conversion spectra at 980 nm excitation display sharp brilliant peak ∼520nm - ∼550nm, ∼630 nm, 670 resulting (5F4,5S2→5I8) and (5F5→5I8) Ho3+ ions, it is also found that sample radiates green red colors. down-conversion peaks show maximum absorption 300nm exhibit ∼450nm, ∼520nm- ∼550 ∼and 630 -∼670 respectively. rare earth ions doped radiation radiation. This type energetic work has an extensive range applications, including lasers, metal ion sensors, bio-imaging, temperature stress damage defense cyber security.
